Echinacea purpurea ‘Rubinstern’ (Ruby Star Coneflower) is a German bred cultivar with deeply colored rose-red petals that stretch out horizontilly from the center cone. A vigorous long bloomer with some of the darkest flowers you’ll see on a purple coneflower. 40-42″ tall x 18″ wide.

40-42″ tall x 18″ wide. ‘Rubinstern’ (Ruby Star) is an exciting, improved variety of ‘Magnus’ developed by Jelitto Perennial Seeds of Germany. This breeding effort has resulted in more uniformly sized plants with large, more darkly colored flowers. The intense carmine-red petals are held horizontally from the center cone giving ‘Rubinstern’ a very beautiful and distinctive look. (seed propagated)
